February 19: "Elevator Speeches Where There Are No Elevators"

Beth Burnett and David Eichinger will talk about their experiences at Uganda Christian University last year, where David taught Environmental Science to seniors and Beth volunteered at the Career Center. David’s academic area is not Environmental Science and Beth soon discovered that teaching job hunting skills is very different in a place where the letter that starts your last name defines you to everyone you meet. They lived on an Anglican campus and witnessed a fairly historic election, a population coping with climate change and changing mores, and some of the worst TV drama and music videos ever.

Beginning February 26 and continuing throughout Lent: a Lenten Study of the Gospel of Mark

The study will be led by Pastor Will and Mark Hermodson. This study is based on a book which is available for purchase in the narthex. The price is $8.25.
